We love our Volunteers!
As a non-profit organization, Sungod Skating Club relies on valuable volunteers. Volunteers are essential to the quality and success of our club and to your child's experience here. Volunteering in the Club is a great opportunity to learn about the sport of figure skating and a fun way to meet other Club members while helping out!
We are always looking for volunteers to help play music and to contribute time to various Club events. No experience necessary! Sungod Skating Club's mandatory Volunteer Program (Star 1 to Senior) is in effect from September to the end of August with a variety of opportunities and times throughout the year. Volunteer requirements are distributed each year with the Fall/Winter Program Registration.
Skater Designation
Junior
Minimum: 10 hours
Deposit*: $150
Intermediate
Minimum: 15 hours
Deposit*: $200
Senior/Elite
Minimum: 25 hours
Deposit*: $300
*Deposit is collected with registration to the Fall/Winter session and returned at the end of the Summer session if volunteer requirements have been met in full (partial hours will not be accepted nor deposits pro-rated).
**If a skater moves up a level mid-year, volunteer hour requirement will be based upon the deposit level submitted at the beginning of Fall/Winter registration.
