Norma has 38 years of coaching experience and is a Level 3 Skate Canada coach with 2 components of Level 4 completed. She has trained skaters from Tiny Tots to the Canadian National Championships. Norma has coached skaters to the gold test level in Freeskate, Skills, and Dance, as well as many medallists at various competitions including B.C. Sections (Provincial) through to Canadians. Aside from her figure skating training, Norma has extensive training in ballet and jazz. Norma痴 involvement with students and passion for the sport has kept her at Sungod Skating Club for more than 30 years.

Jim is a past national medalist, star of Ice Follies in the comedic numbers of Frick and Frack, and The Funsters. Jim started his coaching career at The Arbutus club, went on to Houston Texas where he opened his first skate shop. He came back to Canada to coach at the Sungod skating club where he had numerous students accomplish their potential from CanSkate to national level. Jim has a level 3 in Canada and is master rated in the United States. He is famous for his master sharpening; international competitors call him "The Sk8-DR". After a few years of semi retirement Jim is back coaching at Sungod helping our skaters reach their goals and have a little fun along the way.

Kevin has been involved as a skating coach and director of programs for more than 25 years. Some of the key roles he held in the past include: National Performance Director for the UK National Ice Skating Association, Managing Director at Barr High Performance Facilities in Ayr Scotland and Director of programs at Connaught Skating Club in Richmond. More recently, Kevin was a senior staff member at BC Centre of Excellence in Burnaby where he coached skaters up to National and International levels.

Rose has over 20 years experience as a coach and is NCCP level 2 certified working towards her level 3. Rose was an accomplished competitor; she is a Junior Canadian Champion and she was part of the National team for four years. Rose brings her experience and positive outlook to the benefice of all our skaters.

Josh was born and raised in Vancouver and has been figure skating for the past 20 years. He has completed his Gold Freeskate and Gold Skills levels. Josh was a consistent member of the BC Provincial Team and competed at three National Championships. For 3 years, Josh toured with Disney on Ice, travelling around the globe including Australia, Japan, and Europe. He has performed and collaborated with Olympic competitors and world-renowned choreographers. In addition to his skating career, Josh has extensive training in ballet, jazz, and hip-hop and has performed as a professional dancer.

Lolita's skating career began in Russia at the age of 3. At 14, she moved to Canada and continued to train and compete for another 8 years. In her amateur skating career, Lolita was a member of the B.C. provincial team and competed in the National Championships. Lolita completed her gold tests and is Level 1 certified with 5 components of Level 2 completed. Throughout her skating career Lolita trained in ballet, pilates, and plyometrics.

Cherie has been coaching skating for 29 years with Level 11 and CanPower certified with Skate Canada. For the past 15 years, she has been a support coaching staff member for the Sunday CanSkate and CanPower sessions. During this time, her interest in skating skill development has focused on power-skating instruction for the aspiring ringette and hockey players. Cherie enjoys going out for a glide herself and is a member of the Delta Masters Ringette Team.
